DailyPost prompt of the day May 7, 2017 “Exposed“
Healing from being Exposed to Life.
Daily Life puts before us a myriad of health obstacles to overcome on our path to Happy, Healthy and Well Adjusted. Humans are Exposed to unhealthiness on every level of existence. From the microcosm; the world of the very small, such as bacteria, fungus and viruses. Up the macrocosm; the world of the very big, like solar radiation, Gravitational and Spatial displacement, or in other words; time and space itself. Not to mention everything in between, the foods we eat and the water we drink. This constitutes the world of form or the physical exposures to our bodies. Negative influential exposure to homeostasis, or balance in life also includes emotional and psychological exposures that lead to stress, that in turn lead to disease, or what I call dis-ease. There is more to healing than just seeing a doctor, getting and following a prescription, having surgery or praying for a miracle. It is your “Mindset”. How do you see yourself in this moment in space and time. In other words; do you see yourself as having the disease, or do you see yourself as experiencing it? Do you believe what “those people” say of your condition and its pre-determined outcomes, or do see yourself healing quickly and completely…. no matter what? The image and perception you hold of yourself in the “here-and-now” is what will project into the times and spaces ahead. Notice I didn’t refer to that as the future. The future and the past are fictitious points in time, they do not exist. They are distractions for the mind to get lost in, rather than dealing in the presence of the present moment. What Eckhart Tolle coined and we define and ISNESS. Living in the past brings only depression and resentment. Living for the future only brings stress, worry and doubt. So to truly heal from these negative exposures of life, completely and fully, one must self-heal as well.
Self-Healing means taking on the responsibility and mindfulness to fully heal from whatever it is that inflicts you, be it a disease – or what we refer to as “dis-ease” – health condition, hereditary dysfunction, or any other physical, emotional, or mental illness. There is no one method of completely healing any condition by doing one particular modality. Full healing requires encompassing all realms of human existence: the full body and all of its intricately woven functions and systems; the mind, which includes memories, traumas, fears, obsessions, and predetermined outcomes; and the spirit, by which I mean the energetic self, life force energy, chi, ki, or prana.
How we’ve arrived to the point of needing healing is also an important factor in this book. What have we fed our bodies? What toxicities and heavy metals have we exposed ourselves to? What stresses have we been put through? The fact that most conditions have come about through many years of abuse, neglect, unknowing environmental exposures, and stress also means you must be willing to take the time to unravel, cleanse, repair, rebuild, and heal each layer. By doing this, you heal once and for all – unlike with modern medicine, which only suppress the symptoms. If the underlying causes are not addressed, the original problem still exists and will resurface again.
“Intuitive Self-Healing” is what I have researched, practice, teach and now write about. It is using the power of the mind and manipulating our internal and external energies or chi, to complete and insure total healing; body, mind and spirit. If left to only modern medicine, we do not own the healing, we are relying on others to do the work for us. This does not work on any level. It merely masks the symptoms temporarily, only to revisit with a vengeance. Prime example: anything to do with dermatology. Think on this for a minute. What is needed is to return to what I call “Original Medine”. Owning and determining your destiny with your thoughts, desires and mindset, utilizing all that nature has to offer, and seeing and really believing that you can heal yourself, body, mind and spirit.
It is painfully obvious to see the difference between Original Medicine and Modern Medicine; we see what is in the best interest for our whole healing and what is not. For instance, take a good look at a pharmaceutical ad on television, which spends only a few seconds on what it can do for you and the rest of the time on all the side effects – all due to unnatural, synthesized chemicals. It’s time to return to making our medicines from natural herbs, vitamins, minerals, and flora and create meals that address our needs – making food our medicine in the same way our ancestors did for thousands of years.
