Sanctuary – your Sacred Space

“Sanctuary” The Daily Post prompt for 7/25/2016

Sanctuary, original definition -a sacred place, such as a shrine.

By the use of such places as a haven, by extension the term has come to be used for any place of safety, or what I refer to in my writings as Sacred Space.  A place you create in your mind to go to in meditation and relaxation to regroup, reconnect and release stress.

Your sacred space is a very selfish place… it is all about YOU.

This place out of space and time is all about you, and only you.

Be selfish, it’s ok, you deserve this. It is your right and your responsibility.

It is more necessary than you can imagine…

So imagine it!

Sacred Space is not only for meditation; it is your space, no matter where you are. Be cognizant of your surroundings at all times.

Earth is your church; your space around you is your alter.

Treat everyone and everything in your view with reverence

and see the beauty of life in all things.

A temple, a church? on the contrary… Mother Earth is your Sanctuary!
